We're not sure if it is grown-girl-in-pigtails thing or the loveliness of her slightly awkward leg moves, but Rewind is besotted by French singer Sheila.

A pretty little pop sensation in the 60's, Sheila went disco-glam on us in the 70's. She hit some hard times in the 80's, despite a short new do (alas, no more pigtails) and a new set of duds, thanks to a little-known up-and-coming designer. You might have heard of him? Jean-Paul Gaultier.

The new century has been a bit more kind to Sheila, what with sold out concerts and an 18 CD box set. Although, Rewind thinks the fuss and attention may have gone to her head. She recently accused Madonna of stealing her act!

But don't worry baby. Rewind still loves you.
